Youth programs at CommonBond help resident youth achieve academic and social success. To become a CommonBond volunteer, you will need to attend a training session and submit a volunteer application online, at the training session, or via mail.

Come share the fun of being a Camp Fire kid! A partner organization of CommonBond, Camp Fire creates programming that builds caring, confident youth and future leaders Camp Fire volunteers assist by leading small Camp Fire groups in fun activities after school. Volunteers are needed at:

    Homework Center tutors assist groups of students at drop-in homework centers at CommonBond properties. Tutors aid students with homework assignments and strengthen academic skills in a fun, productive environment. Volunteers are needed at:

  • Learning Circles
    Learning Circles is a youth mentoring support program. Volunteers mentor up to four residents in 4th to 12th grade with similar learning goals. These groups meet for 1½ hours twice a week throughout the school year, providing youth with academic assistance and group support. Volunteers are needed at:

    Study Buddies is a one-on-one academic mentoring program. Spend one to two hours a week helping a child with homework assignments, special projects, academic skills, and more. Volunteers are needed at:
